One Source Talent Agency Complaints and Reviews

Worst modeling agency ever

One Source Talent Agency is a scam. They pressured me into paying $995.00 for a "professional" photo shoot which was taken in some apartment building. I read the reviews before but didn't believe them. I even asked the girl there if they were true and she said "no, dont believe them". After spending close to $1000 for photographs and $40 a month which I have paid on my credit card for 6 months now, I have yet to book any jobs. I am so upset. The casting they have on their website are either expired or extra work that I can find on my own. They claim to work with modeling agencies like Ford, I called their New York office and told me they do not even know them and to not pay a cent for photos, real agencies take a percentage.!!!! The reviews are true. One Source Talent is a scam and they need to be shut down.

I received the same message yesterday, I truly honestly believe it's not a SCAM or otherwise their company wouldn't be in existence in many states. Now when it comes to paying for training and classes to take to develop you as a model or actress/actor that's when it becomes nonsense any true modeling agencies pays you with lil percentage they get from your work if booked. And also, they train you for free. That's the differences one source is a model management not a agency it's not guaranteed work it's all in the contract. Best bet is to build your portfolio based off paid work, paid shoots, Brand Ambassador work and then take it to the best of the best local agencies..... And it goes from there hopefully this helped!!! I've learned so much throughout this industry invest in yourself w/o money being taken away from you.

Scammer

When I went in for my interview at Onesource talent I was immediately out done by how many people were there during my appointment time and that was the first red flag the other red flag was that they wanted me to pay nearly $850 up front for registration and maintence fees. And everyone knows that any PROFESSIONAL modeling agencies do not charge a client any money to get started. Then my interviewer contradicted herself because she told me I couldn't do any modeling because of my height but then she said my first photo shoot would be in July if I payed the money. This place is a scam. All they care about is money, I would recommend more legit modeling agencies.

Scam your money

I recently went into a 'one source talent' interview after I submitted my photo and they called me within 24 hours after I submitted the photo. After I got off the phone with them, I googled them and most reviews were negative..but I decided to go and see for myself. I was in the ATLANTA office. - when I got to the office complex, my 'red flag' went up. Their office was located in a cluster of offices and the building had many empty offices. - inside , fresh paint, was not a proper setup. seemed a rushed set up. -was told the headquarters was in 'Troy, Michigan' MAJOR RED FLAG. Since I grew up in Michigan, Troy has a lot of modeling scam places including John Robert Powers Modeling School (NEVER pay a dime to go to a modeling school. My family stupidly paid for one - JRP, cost $2K for the 'school' and $3K for the photos. I never got a job and my modeling and acting jobs, I got on my own by submitting on my own) - lady gave a nice sales pitch for an hour and a half. She did say that the $495 was for the comp card and the $39 bucks per month was to 'keep photos on the website'. After the long boring sales pitch that she could have said in five min... I was called back for my 'interview' and the lady giving it seemed new and she said to me "can you afford to pay the $495 fee?" I smiled and said 'yes' (I can but everyone knows you do not pay a company to keep your photo online.) she then handed me the card to come back for the 'second' interview. As I walked out, I overheard her talking to another "did I do this right? I just accept anyone?" And the other lady said "yes, you are doing a great job". When I left, I felt bad for the people who drove all the way from Alabama to come to this interview. There were people who showed up who clearly didn't have that money to spend, they were hard on their times. am I going back for the second interview? no.But just like everyone said in the past, they accept everyone. And they were right. every single person walked out of the building with their 'come back card'. Look, they should not charge $495 for a 'comp' card, what they should say is "if you don't have one, we have options for you". People, do not get suckered into this agency. If you are serious about acting / modeling, find a photographer, get some photos done and submit them to legit agencies. to sum this up: - agency headquartered in Troy, Michigan should be a red flag to get you to walk out asap. Modeling agencies would be in Atlanta, New York, L.A. and Florida.. and chicago. The Legit agencies would have 'branch out offices' in other states, but not in Troy, Michigan. I should know, I grew up in Michigan :) - office was located in a building that had many empty office spaces. Another red flag to leave. - staff seemed clueless what was going on. Save your hard earned money and do not go to them :) I am going to be honest with you this is a scam!!! stay away from them

Problems with payment

Bad bad bad!! I went to the one here in Georgia on Windy Hill. They got mad cause I didn't want to pay the 500 at the second meeting. Wtf I mean come on who ask for that much money at a meeting. I feel like if they were so REAL they could have told us at the first sit down that they would be asking for money when we came to the second meeting. I felt it was wrong wrong wrong all through my body and it was so I never looked back. They are scam artist and people need to be doing their research.
